our footprint: less emissions

Together with Carbonfact we have determined the total CO2 emissions of the production of our shoes – including the whole production chain from raw materials to the finished shoes. The result: our shoes produce up to 71% less CO2 and produce around 11 kilograms less CO2 per pair than comparable shoes do on average.

71% REDUCED
CARBON EMISSIONS

Our sneakers made of cactus, pineapple and recycled and organic cotton require the least CO2 in production. This is due to the low weight, sustainable materials and manufacturing in Europe. Compared to the average CO2 consumption of similar shoes, that’s 41-71% less. The reduction is most significant in our recycled and organic cotton, cactus and pineapple sneakers.

11 KILOGRAMS
LESS CO2 PER PAIR

Our sneakers made of recycled and organic cotton and cactus cause the least carbon offset. You need about 5 kilograms in production. Pineapples and organic cotton require around 6 kilograms of carbon. Our shoes made of recycled artificial leather (approx. 8 kilograms) and leather (approx. 11 kilograms) cause slightly more carbon. On average, the production of our shoes causes around 11 kilograms less CO2 than comparable shoes.
